We are committed to growing organically and ecologically. We practice a style of farming known as “intensive market gardening.” Our low-till permanent bed system encourages healthy soil, decreased reliance on tractors and fossil fuels, higher yields per acre and decreased weed pressure. Farming intensively allows us to grow more on less land, employ ethical labour practices, produce high-quality produce and cut flowers while keeping prices at market affordable and accessible. Of the 75 acres of land we currently steward, less than 3% is in production. We are a small family-run organic market garden specializing in high-quality produce and cut flowers. We sell at the Trinity Bellwoods Farmers’ Market on Tuesday afternoons and Dufferin Grove market on Thursdays from mid May to November 1st.
